The name TONOMIA embodies a vision of harmonizing technology and nature to foster autonomy in everyday life. This vision includes smart space optimization, eco-friendly materials, integration of connected devices, promotion of green mobility, and the development of sustainable digital solutions—all within a flexible work environment.
It comes to life by transforming idle parking lots into renewable energy hubs that power electric vehicles and supply energy to AI systems housed in nearby buildings.
Key Products
Tonomia’s flagship product is the eParking Solar Module—a versatile system that combines solar energy production, battery storage (Sodium-ion or Lithium), fast EV charging, wireless connectivity, and rainwater harvesting. Launched at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, the module was later showcased at VivaTech in Paris, where Tonomia was one of seven startups selected by Tsinghua University for strategic collaboration.
The product has received recognition from German EUPD Research agency with an Outstanding Innovation Award and is backed by nine pending patents.
Tonomia eParking Solar for AI Infrastructure
Beyond EV charging and grid balancing, Tonomia is collaborating with top AI partners to embed high-power computing solutions (GPUs based servers) in eParking modules, catering to the rising demand for sustainable AI infrastructure.
This innovative approach addresses the growing controversy around traditional data centers, which often face long waiting lists or cancellations due to high energy and water consumption. Tonomia’s solution aims to create a sustainable computing model powered by abundant solar energy and cooled with harvested rainwater—without requiring additional space.
